Hey guys!

Welcome to the third round of Writing Frenzy! As always, I will be allowing stragglers to check-in, even if they haven't signed up for the round! I hope we can all pull together and manage to get some things we've been putting off done with week! And this is a special EXTENDED Week! We will have 14 check-ins during this round! What else did you achieve this week? managed to cook, clean, shop, host Thanksgiving, and got a cortisone shot for my super-painful right arm. Not writing, I know, but writing had to happen between all of this (and despite some of it!) so it counts, doesn’t it???
Snippet: I can tease that the fic I’ll be posting on Dec. 2 was inspired by Jared’s comment at a recent con that he’d like to be the Invisible Man (if he could be any superhero)

What else did you accomplish today? I finished a holiday exchange fic so I guess I can't post a snippet. But I finished it 28 days before it was due which, as an Olympic-level procrastinator, is a miracle I'm literally reeling from.
Snippet: (from a fic I worked on the first two days, not the one I finished today. It's a college AU of, at minimum, s1 of Lucifer. Why do I do this to myself? I hated college; I literally have 0 good memories of college, and yet I am writing an entire college AU? Ugh.)

"You're trying to clear her name, right?" he asked, continuing as though she agreed before she could tell him not exactly. "Well I propose we team up. Two heads are always better than one, right?"

"No," she said.

"I'm pretty sure that's the saying." He sent a sidelong look her way, and she met it with a flat stare.

"No, I will not team up with you," she said, and he blinked.

"You understand you'd get to spend one-on-one time with me, right?" he asked, still looking surprised and, she thought, maybe slightly lost.

"I'm sorry," she said. "Do you think you're charming? Because buddy, I have some news for you."

He stared at her. "I'm sorry, are you telling me you don't want to sleep with me?"

She stared back. "That is exactly what I'm telling you. Now move out of my way so I can talk to 2Vile."

"Wait wait wait," he said as she tried to sidestep him and he moved to counter. "Look, I have all the information you need, and I'm willing to make a trade."

"A trade," she said flatly.

"Yes, a trade. A little bargain." He had turned on the charm again, but she wasn't fooled and narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm a man of my word," he said, holding up his fingers like he was a Boy Scout. Only, they were the wrong fingers.
