Hey guys!
Welcome to the fourth round of Writing Frenzy! As always, I will be allowing stragglers to check-in, even if they haven't signed up for the round! This post will remain open for check-ins until the Day 1 is posted! Spread the word! Tell your friends! We have a lot of words to get out this week guys! I hope we can all pull together and manage to get some things we've been putting off done with week! And this is another special EXTENDED Week! We will have 7 check-ins during this round! So write, write, write!

Original Work - Resurrection

What else do you want to get done this week? Get through the holidays without losing too much of my already fragile mind. Wish me luck...
Snippet: “Lexi!” she called out as loudly as she was able to in her current state. “Lexi!” She could see her on another one of the gurneys a couple feet away. It wasn't a great look, but from what she could see, Lexi wasn't moving. And she could see that there was blood everywhere. Some of it was coming from her she knew, but there was blood coming from Lexi as well. A lot of blood. She didn't really remember much about the events that led them here. Just that she was in pain and Lexi was lying lifeless on a gurney a few feet away while there were doctors and nurses rushing to both their sides to start helping each one of them.
A bright light flashed in her eyes, causing her to hiss in pain as she squeezed her eyes shut to escape the intrusion. There was a woman speaking to her, but she couldn't quite focus on what was being said. All she cared about right now was Lexi. “Is she okay?” she asked, trying to push herself to her elbows. Unfortunately, she was too weak and she immediately fell back down, groaning in pain when her back hit the sheets once more.
The voice was getting louder and more stern, causing her to focus more on what was being said. “What is your name?” the woman asked her, eyes scanning over her body. “Do you know where you are? Do you know what happened?”

What else do you want to get done this week? This week for me is mostly Edit week, so my word count might not be that big. However, I think I'm going to try to do some short fics for challenges. :)
